The hotel is excellently located in a nice, clean, safe neighborhood with elegant Victorian terrace houses. Sir Henry Rider Haggard, the famous English adventure writer (1856-1925) lived in the house across the street. Very quiet street with a beautiful public memorial garden at one end, close to the hotel. Worth spending time there. There are some food shops, a Sainsbury's Local, pubs (Three Kings) and cafes nearby. It is very close to two main underground stations: Barons Court and West Kensington, on Piccadilly and District lines. Just 30 minutes from Heathrow Aiport, Terminals 2, 3, 4, and 5, taking Piccadilly Line to Barons Court, trains every 10 minute. Pay with credit card, it is cheapest. Only 15-20 minutes by underground to St. James Park, Westminster, Covent Garden and other central London attractions. Very close to Olympia Exhibitions Centre, 10 minutes walk, convenient if you attend an event there. Very pleasant double room at the first floor, quiet, excellent shower, good bed. Good optional breakfast. Homely environment. Always someone at the reception desk to greet you and sell you a cold beer. I really enjoyed my stay there.

The staff were extremely friendly. Check in was simple and they checked us in early which was amazing. We also overslept and they did not charge us a late fee - though they explained they could not always do this that it was possible this time. So when they can give a little, they did. The staff always greeted us when we came in and they were always at the desk no matter what time: The hotel was value for money and the location was excellent. A 5 minute walk to West Kensington to district and circle lines and a 5 minute walk to Barrons Court to the Piccadilly lines meaning we had direct access to the city. Picadilly line also does a direct train to Heathrow meaning the hotel is accessible by the underground directly from Heathrow. The room has excellent aircon as well and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was always clean and the cleaning services were flexible and prompt.

The location was perfect. Just a few minutes walk from the Underground but very quiet. Lots of lovely cafes around as well as a couple of small parks. The room was just as described - petite but with attention to detail, lots of thoughtful touches and scrupulously clean. There was a small lobby area as you stepped into the room, which was useful to take my shoes off and leave my suitcase there, with the beautiful bathroom to the right and bedroom area in front. With a large window it felt airy. I especially loved the bathroom with the amazing 2 choices of shower and controls that were sleek but easy to understand. The built in hairdryer in the bedroom was a great bonus and was good quality. The staff were welcoming and helpful at all times. The rest of the hotel was modern, clean, tastefully decorated, well maintained and very quiet. I will definitely stay again.

I was immediately very impressed upon arrival at how friendly and welcoming the staff were. The hotel is very easy to find - just a short walk from West Kensington tube station. It is also very close to Baron's Court station which is excellent for heading in to explore town. I got back to the hotel late after seeing an evening comedy show but I was once again cheerfully greeted by the staff who were more than willing to pour me a Jack Daniels as a night cap. The bed was comfortable in my clean room and the water in the shower was plentiful and hot! I did not think that £112 for the night was too bad given that it was London and I was able to check in at 13.30, which was a huge bonus. I dropped my bags off in good time and headed out to explore.

It was really close to two different tube stations. One the district line and the other Piccadilly. Very easy to walk to. Felt safe as a females solo traveler. The breakfast was alright if you want to pay. Otherwise short walk to corner shop. Or cafe. The staff were nice and helpful as well.
